I love organising events. Small, intimate events that offer people the opportunity to bond, build and become friends.
This all started many years' ago when as an aspiring DJ I used to host events in local venues where I lived.
Becoming a professional tax advisor then raising a family put paid to developing this further but I got back to it several years ago by setting up The Squash Club Business Network. We met in several squash clubs where we were expertly coached, we played matches to add competition and see progression, and most importantly, we had fun. Unfortunately, squash is impossible to play remotely so I had to close it down after the pandemic.
However, this year I jumped back into events by forming Business Uncorked. It combines my love of organising events with quality wines and cheeses, and exceptional company, all delivered at a wonderful wine bar in Southend-on-Sea called The Cork Dork.
